Ford has released the first official teaser Explorer 2011, which will be presented to the public later this year.
This image gives a small presentation at the front of the car, mostly on its hood and headlights. "This is the modern interpretation of an SUV - the company says.
Explorer will be equipped with so-called "landscape system, with five settings - normal, dirt, sand, snow, and down, just like the Land Rover.
2011 Ford Explorer will be equipped with 2.0-liter four-Ecoboost and more powerful 3.5-liter version of Ecoboost, power 355 hp (265 kW) and 474 Nm of torque. The platform of the new Explorer is the same as that of the Taurus.
