Shelby said 50-year anniversary of the sports car "Cobra" a new car



    Shelby American, subdivision owned by the famous engineer and racer Carroll Shelby firm Carroll Shelby International, presented a special modification of the sports car Cobra.

    The car will be released a limited edition to mark the 50 th anniversary with the first Cobra with the engine on the Ford showroom in New York in 1962. Each of the 50 instances spetsversii will be painted black, will get trimmed in red leather interior, chrome bumpers and spoke wheels.

    New still equipped with spring suspension, but now the car can be ordered with a body which is made of modern materials like fiberglass or aluminum. Moreover, if the earlier Shelby Cobra came with a first "eights" in volume 260 and 289 cubic inches (4.3 and 4.7 liters, respectively), and then the 427-mi motors (7 liters), now the engine and transmission are chosen by the client.     The new SSC, designed by Jason Castriota, is giving a lot of talk. The design reminds Mantide, no doubt, but is modern, interesting, and far more advanced than anything ever seen in the hands of Shelby Super Cars.
