Top 10 Lucky Guys In Anime

Today's the final day of my reservist in the army and am probably celebrating it outside now with my friends in camp. And nevertheless, am finally back too to blog more interesting stuff herein. With that, let's take a look at the top 10 most lucky guys in anime I'd believe would be. You'd be so happy and living in a life of paradise if you're one of these characters here...

1. Hanaukyo Maid Tai

The most fortunate guy in which I believe and would love to be him would definitely be Tarou Hanaukyo from the anime Hanaukyo Maid Tai. Being the master as appointed by his rich grand uncle, Tarou lives in a large mansion served by hundreds of maids on his beck and call. Even taking a leak in the toilet, you'd be serve by maids opening your fly and directing your gun at the toilet bowl... Not to mention helping you bathe or sleeping with you in a much very exciting manner...

2. Princess Lover

Once again, another anime in which the protagonist is suddenly being made a rich kid and enjoying it... Kobayashi Teppei from the anime Princess Lover is certainly a character many people dream to become. I mean who wouldn't want to be in love with beautiful princesses and idols from around the world? Sometime it just pay to be rich... Reality is painful at times...

3. To Love Ru

Yuki Rito just don't understand how lucky he is to have met Lala from the planet of Deviluke, one of the most beautiful princess of the entire galaxy. What's more, with all the girls around him and always getting into embarrassing moments, I think he'd be grateful more instead of being so unhappy about girls affecting his daily lifestyle. Seriously, if a girl would to appear naked on your bed, what would you do man?

4. Shuffle!

Suddenly, the God's and Demon's daughter become candidates of your future bride. Tsuchimi Rin can choose to marry either after getting to know them better in this eroge turned anime titled Shuffle!. With school life just as lively and being popular with the girls, everyone wants to have such wonderful high school days too. Being charismatic is nice~especially with the girls.

5. Nagasarete Airanto

Trapped on an island? How about an island full of girls who'd desperately needs a guy as a partner. Being the only guy on the island, Ikuto from the anime Nagasarete Airanto is being stalked and surrounded by girls wanting to have a relationship with him. I guess being stranded on an island like this ain't so bad at all... Now you do not need to worry about not finding a girlfriend anymore even being an introvert and all... Once again, reality hurts...

6. Isekai No Seikishi


Once again, being a popular guy whose strength is admirable and able to get in favor with the girls is another character many people envy... Kenshi from the anime Isekai No Seikishi is no doubt the copy of the previous anime done by the same company known as Tenchi Muyo. Kenshi's charisma has brought about many girls around him to his attention and would probably be in love with him just as being told in the anime. Imagine being in an alternative world and becoming popular in it.... Never would I want to return to the real world already after that...

7. Hand Maid May

the girls around the protagonist in this anime are mostly robots, but who the heck could withstand such temptations from robots who looked and feel so life like... Not to mention, they could even love and act like a normal human being who could be a replacement for the real thing to all ronery guys. Seriously if such were to be produce, it would be a double edge sword for all humankind alike. However if you'd look into the prospects of it, many guys would be happier... Who wouldn't want a partner to love them back as much as they too?

8. Tokimeki Memorial Only Love

Aoba Riku from the anime Tokimeki Memorial Only Love is also another lucky guy to have met girls one after another after being transferred into this unique school. Imagine being hooked up with the school idol and pretty girls in high school... err, you'd get the picture... How I wish my school life was like that too... once again and again,reality is a cruel thing... That's why animes give us these fantasies to think about and fills up void we do not have experience before.

9. Ichigo 100%

Another one of those school days anime in which many desires to have... Ichigo 100% tells the tale of manaka Junpei in search of a girl he saws on the roof with Ichigo Pantsu (Strawberry Underwear). And in the midst of it all, meeting up with 3 other girls in the process... My personal fav is Toujou Aya though Satsuki is one of the popular characters in this anime. Whatever the case, this guy sure is lucky...

10. Love Hina

Lastly, Love Hina is still the classic Harem anime whereby its protagonist Urashima Keitaro gets into many awkward situation with the girls living in a bathhouse. From a complete geek to a successful and matured guy, Keitaro has seen through various heart-pounding events, nosebleeds and also weird situations in almost every turn... One of the animes that gives me plenty of encouragement when my morale's low.

And so here are my top 10 most lucky guys in anime. Then again there are plenty of such animes around, from Tenchi Muyo to even the latest anime like Ichiban Ushiro No Daimaou. Such animes are normally ecchi in its genres but such are mostly popular because such are what fans love in the anime industry. J's Chimes: Why You Should Date An Otaku...

Though this is not backup by any statistical charts or polls or anything, I would somehow have to agree with such as it does make sense and such... (Well, on the Otaku point of view...) Otakus are mistaken for their creepy hobbies by the public and are often neglected on the romance side. So here are probably the 10 Reasons why you should date an Otaku in which you should take note of. It may not be at all true but then again it wouldn't hurt to know about it.

10 Reasons why you should date an Otaku

1. Will remember your birthdays, special occasions, etc and will treat it with utmost importance.

2. You can be assured that he would be faithful to his relationship (Except that he only loves anime too. But would you compare yourself to an anime character he likes?)

3. He’ll be delighted with simple things like cooking for him or holding his hand (As in situations that would exist in the anime world)

4. You can avoid being compared to his last girlfriend as he would probably never have one before…

5. You can pursue an innocent romance with him being a novice in a relationship. Seriously if a guy you met knows a lot about dating and stuff, wouldn’t you be worried about his past and the coming future?

6. You needn’t be jealous of other women as most of them are greenhorns when approaching a girl. So you really need not worry about them getting to know more girls…

7. You can dye him your color. In simpler terms, you can have him dress and date how you want. You can even mold him to be what you wanted but of course not forcefully. But surely, they would change for the sake of their partners in which they would hold dearly.

8. You can be sure that he would treat you well because of the fact that it is hard for them to get into a relationship with someone they love easily than others.

9. You don’t have to worry about him cheating on you as he’s likely to take romance seriously so the chances of him cheating are low.

J's Chimes: The differences between 2D and 3D girls

It is seriously interesting the way people made comparisons between getting a real girl and one that is in your computer... However it does have a point or so because it is just so true in a way or another lol. Of course the fact in reality is that everyone would want to have a real life girlfriend for a companion but reality can be a little harsh at times because of how you were born... Basically I believe that a guy needs to have either of these in order to get girls
And they are:

1. Money (The root of all evils. Any girl would fall for you if you are filthy rich. Who wouldn't want to live a life of luxury?)

2. Good-looking/handsome (Despite saying that the heart is what's important, people still look and quickly ranks you on how you look...reality is like that)

3. Strong/Muscular (Some girls just like hunks and strong guys because they feel a sense of security and dependability.)

4. Charismatic (If you are someone who easily mix around, approachable, fun to be with and such. Most girls will feel your charm.)

5. Special Talents (Be it bar tricks or magic, etc, or some other interesting things that may impress the girls)

You score if you do have either one these qualities. But not many people have it thus are one of the major reasons why eroges are popular... Agree?


A little comparison brings an unexpected result which is seemingly surprising to look at. J's Chimes: The 2 Types Of Anime Otaku

Somehow or rather, somebody derives that anime otakus can be divided into 2 distinctive types.

Type A
- A person who simply enjoys 'anime'.
- Is proud of Japan’s anime.
- Evaluates anime based on direction, voice acting, art, etc.
- Hates shallow anime with no real content.
- Story emphasis more on 'Moe' anime.

Type B
- A person who simply enjoys 'characters'.
- Will watch an anime if it includes cute or beautiful characters.
- Doesn’t care if story is awful, as long as the characters are of interest.
- Evaluates anime based on which seiyuu are in it and what the characters look like.
- Loves Moe elements. Doesn’t like complex anime.
- The otaku the media picks up on are usually this kind.
- Doesn’t know that much about anime and so is often criticized as by Type A otaku.
- However, they make much better customers than the more discerning Type A otaku.
- Recently there has been a huge increase in anime targeted at Type B otaku.
- People who like K-ON!, Queen’s Blade, Strike Witches and so on would be in this class.

Personally am in the range between type A and B but more towards type A. I believe a good storyline for anime is a must that makes me wanna watch. J's Chimes: The Shocking Truth About Animators

A shocking truth is being revealed to the public when research is done to find out just exactly how much Japanese animators are paid for their hard work. Animators are paid slave wages for drawing the animations, characters and tracing for a mere 200 yen per hour for 1 pathetic piece. It is been said that even a burger flipper working in Mcdonald's gets at least an hourly wage of 1000yen. Such comparison shows that even an unskilled job like that beats being a skilled animator that draws wonderful animes we see on tv.


With the plight of these poorly paid animators, their woes are even greatly increased as more of these animations are being outsource to other countries to finish the work with cheaper production costs and twice as fast. Such brings to the point that animations will be slowly diminishing in Japan, which could bring about the collapse of anime in futures to come which originated from Japan.


The average annual salary for animators and such are as stated below:

Animator (Animation) = 1,050,000yen = SGD$16,228 per year
Animator (Illustration) = 2,300,000yen = SGD$35,547 per year
Artists = 2,320,000yen = SGD$35,856 per year
Performers = 3,330,000yen = SGD$51,466 per year
Directors = 4,950,000yen = SGD$76,504 per year

With figures like this, its no wonder animators are often struggling with their lifestyle. A mere $1300 per month is not even enough to survive in Singapore, let alone Japan. With many wants and needs, desires and attractions, such contributed to the low birth rates in Japan and with such meager salary, one could only wonder how to get on with life resisting many temptations. J's Chimes: Angel Beats Up To Charts

Despite having much criticism about the bad quality of the anime, mistakes, flow of the story and the main character being a similar copy of Suzumiya Haruhi, Angel Beats! still become a popular anime this season. As taken from the NewType Top 10 Anime Girls, Yuri is ranked first over taking Nagato and K-On! favourite Yui Hirasawa. Tachinana takes in 10th place who is the Tenshi in Angel Beats and Otonashi takes the 6th spot with Kyon in Suzumiya Haruhi still in first place. Well, Yuri does have similarities with Haruhi in many ways but still that doesn't stop her popularity ranking and the anime as well. J's Chimes: Fastest And Most Watched Anime

Animations this season are a blast but then again how much or how fast is each being watched right now after they are broadcast in Japan? Here are the most popular and fastest growing animes this season. first, it's gotta be K-On! Season 2 as it tops charts everywhere from music albums to CDs and such.


Other anime to follow on would be Kiss x Sis. The ever so popular incest love of brother and sisters get the attention of anime fans all around with loads of fan services to keep you at the edge of your seat.


Seikon No Qwaser, the anime that features lots of breasts action and Ecchi-ness came in as one of the hot favourites this season. Perhaps such fan services are what's drawing the crowd...


The ever so comedic love anime B Gata H Kei also caught attentions of anime fans with its seemingly interesting theme and storyline for this anime. Love it because of its music and love it because of its quality the anime has offered.


Arakawa Under The Bridge is slowly gaining popularity with its weird and strange anime storyline and style. You'd never know what's gonna happen... Guess that mysteriousness sets in the crowd.


An interesting anime and still amazes me after running for the second season and is no doubt one of the best there is this season.

Ever since the anime Baka To Test To Shokanjuu aired last season, one of the most talked about character would be Kinoshita Hideyoshi. Classified as a Shota Trap, this guy is certainly an eye-candy for fans around because of the cross-dressings and provocative poses the anime has gone into. Then all of a sudden in the Japan Newtype Anime Magazine, Hideyoshi is ranked as one of the top 10 Male Characters of May at 3rd place right after Kyon from Suzumiya Haruhi and Lelouch from Code Geass. With that also brings about new directions for the doujinshi and H industries too featuring him in also another eye-candy situations and adult fantasies... Well, all famous animes get this kinda treatment every now and then because of their popularity... J's Chimes: A New Partner For Life

Taken from the Yahoo News, experts say that a human-robot relationship may be possible by 2050 and will no longer be in Science Fiction. Although there are debates that robots does not return back true inner feelings to another partner, there are still infinite possiblities of what it can actual do and help people who are in distress. (I may be one of them though...) Well if things like this becomes reality, I'd get one too like in Chobits or Hand Maid May... lol. But the fact that bothers me is that relationships between humans would be a problem as everyone wants a perfect partner by then. Too many issues don't you think?

J's Chimes: Battle Resolved

Hard to believe but true, Uesugi Kenshin beat Saber hands down on the Eroge Top 20 Chart in Japan 2006. (Do not fret because Fate Stay Night was 1st in 2004 and remain in the top 20 for the past 3 years...) The Eroge Fate Stay Night climb in at the 19th place while Uesugi Kenshin from the game Sengoku Rance came in 1st for the best Eroge in 2006. It's actually old news but still rather surprising when I checked that out. Seems like Kenshin is a much loved and charismatic character in Sengoku Rance because of her innocent heart and strive for justice.
