At first, I too didn't know what this little square box represents as it appears on posters, newspapers and magazines all the time. And am pretty sure many people in Singapore do not really know what it it too and the purpose of its existence. QR (Quick Response) Code is a matrix barcode which can be scan by taking a photo from your cellphone camera to quick load into the company's website. I do not know if all cellphones are applicable though or whether it requires a service as per provided by your mobile plans. But sometimes one has to wonder...
