NASCAR - Kenseth finds victory

Matt Kenseth was imposed Saturday night on the oval of Texas in NASCAR Sprint Cup, before Clint Bowyer and Carl Edwards.

Matt Kenseth had not won for two years in NASCAR. The 2003 champion was dominating Texas, to win with a comfortable lead over his opponents.

Clint Bowyer took second place. It was one of the few to keep up with Kenseth, but he also made a scare with a big slide trying to avoid a tardy.

Tony Stewart was third at the end of the race with a strategy soon shifted refueling. He eventually fell out of gas on the last lap.

Carl Edwards finished third among so ahead of Greg Biffle, Paul Menard, David Ragan and Marcos Ambrose. The four Roush Fenway cars are the top seven places.
    Johnson in the top 10

Jimmie Johnson to eighth place before Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kurt Busch, who would perhaps have done better without a strategy shifted, replenishing very late. Jeff Burton is eleventh before Tony Stewart, the last driver on the tour after its run out of gas, and Juan-Pablo Montoya. Jeff Gordon is ranked at 22nd place.
